I love this particular chiasm because the climax (chiastic center) of the Psalm is verse 14, "He... satisfies you with the finest wheat." Of course, this doesn't mean that God gives His people sacks of flour. No. Wheat in Scripture is synonymous with bread - and bread is the staple ingredient of a life-giving diet. From beginning to end the Bible teaches that man does not live by bread alone (Deut 8:3), but by the word of God - and Jesus makes no bones about the fact that He is the bread of life (John 6). You just can't read this Psalm and miss its Christocentric / sacramental center.
